Frederic Faria

I am Fred Faria, working for a fun business line in aviation industry named Thales In-Flyt Experience. Our customers are airlines all around the world that equip aircraft with entertainment systems for their passengers. I am the Vice President for Edge and Cloud solutions installed in civil airplanes. In 2020, we decided to disrupt the industry and bring Cloud IT technologies on board of the aircraft to personalize and maximize passengers' experience flying across the globe. In Thales, we strongly believe that a cloud-native solution named FlytEDGE that provides short-term and long-term modern experiences to passengers. In the past years, I was operating cloud infrastructures and digital services delivering secured services to consumers, I was working with major cloud partners and that's where I started a partnership with Datadog. As you may have guessed, I love travelling be it for business and personal matters, Thales IFE was a natural fit for me, my wife and my daughter.
