Beau Christensen is a seasoned technology leader with nearly three decades of experience, spanning from the Dotcom era to the complexities of modern distributed systems. He currently serves as the Senior Engineering Manager of Production Engineering at Rivian Automotive, where he oversees platform engineering, observability, and promotes a culture of learning from incidents.

His extensive career includes key positions at companies such as Ping Identity, Red Canary, VictorOps, and Splunk. At Ping Identity, he played a crucial role in scaling the company from 50 to over 700 employees and launching innovative cloud identity products. At VictorOps, he led the re-architecture of their incident processing engine and its transition to the cloud. He also initiated the first Cloud SRE Team at Splunk, managing production systems and global-scale incidents.

Outside of work, Beau enjoys racing, overlanding, and mountaineering. His diverse experiences and leadership in various tech environments make Beau Christensen a valuable contributor to discussions on technology, engineering, and digital innovation.
