Maintaining healthy distributed systems becomes more difficult as environments scale up to hundreds or thousands of microservices owned by different teams, each with their own DevSecOps and monitoring practices. Without the right tools, it is very challenging for centralized SRE and Platform teams to promote such practices consistently across all services and teams, which can ultimately result in slow detection and response times, as well as excessive resources spent on finding gaps and areas for investment. In this presentation, you will learn how Scorecards enable organizations like Dropbox to quickly monitor the state of your services by evaluating them against pass-fail rules, both out-of-the-box and custom ones.
