Code of Conduct

We place a high value on respect, fairness, openness and trust, and it’s important to us that this is reflected at Datadog events and programs. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for DASH, and applies to anyone in attendance, including Datadog employees, attendees, vendors, volunteers, speakers, and sponsors. To ensure all of our attendees feel safe and included, we expect that you will:

  • Not engage in disruptive behavior or otherwise interfere with the event or other participants’ enjoyment of the event.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that supports a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Refrain from any form of bullying, discriminatory or harassing behavior and unwanted personal contact.
  • Follow the instructions provided by Datadog and event staff.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and any event specific requirements.

If Datadog, in its sole discretion, believes that you engaged in behavior that is inconsistent with this Code of Conduct, then Datadog may deny you entry or require you to leave the event. If your behavior results in you removed from attending the event, you will not receive any form of refund or compensation from Datadog. You may also be banned from future events and programs, and be prohibited from interacting across Datadog blogs, online forums, and social media platforms for a definite or indefinite time period. Datadog reserves the right to involve law enforcement if we deem appropriate.

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, you should speak to event staff immediately at the event’s helpdesk. You may also email events-conduct@datadoghq.com. We take all reports seriously and will take appropriate action to address, including involving local law enforcement.
