Hybrid Cloud Network Monitoring with Datadog
Date & Location
August 02 | 3:30 PM PDT | Platform Talks Theater in Partner Expo
For DevOps, SRE, network engineering, and network operations teams, monitoring a hybrid environment that uses both cloud infrastructure and on-premises network equipment presents unique challenges. These teams need a single source of truth for very different types of data so they can monitor connections and traffic within and between clouds and on-premises deployments. Datadog Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) monitors hosts, processes, containers, and other cloud infrastructure connections and traffic. It integrates seamlessly with Infrastructure Monitoring, APM, and CWS to provide network visibility to the relevant teams. Since on-premises monitoring requires different support than cloud network monitoring, Datadog Network Device Monitoring (NDM) provides device and traffic monitoring for equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and any device that supports SNMP, syslog, and Netflow. In this session, you’ll learn how you can use NPM and NDM together for a holistic solution to hybrid cloud network monitoring.
