Organizations across the tech industry are working to cultivate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs that support company growth and innovation. While these efforts are important, it’s usually the smaller scale, team dynamics that have the greatest day-to-day impact on under-represented people in tech. In this panel, we’ll hear from engineering managers and influential individual contributors about the challenges they’ve faced; solutions they’ve developed to make teams more open, inclusive, and supportive; and positive outcomes they’ve seen from team-level DEI work.
