Santiago and his team own, maintain, and operate a cloud-native multiregion API platform-as-a-service, hosted in AWS and distributed in seven regions. Moreover, he is responsible for providing the technical support to operations teams to troubleshoot workloads running in AWS. Santiago is passionate about cost and performance optimization in cloud environments and, prior to working in VWFS, he worked towards his PhD thesis about the topic at the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
