Deepak Singh has been at Amazon Web Services for 10 years. He founded the AWS container services organization, which now builds and operates services like Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, and AWS Fargate. In addition to containers, Deepak owns a number of other products and services within the AWS compute services organization, including Amazon Linux, High Performance Computing, and Elastic Graphics. Prior to starting the container services org, he led product management for EC2 instance platforms. Prior to AWS, Deepak spent several years as an algorithm developer, product manager, and strategist in the scientific computing industry across genomics, drug discovery, and materials science. He has a Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry from Syracuse University.
