Brian Chan is a senior technologist with over 18 years of experience in full-stack software development. He is currently a master software engineer at Capital One, playing a key role in modernizing banking applications by applying AWS Serverless and related cloud-based technologies. Prior to that, Brian served as lead engineer/architect for several companies in the telecom, healthcare, and financial industries. Brian is passionate about learning and applying new technology to solve challenging business problems with a keen focus on “using the right tool for the job.” In his current role, Brian spends his days building cloud-based applications in a polygot environment, coding in multiple languages including Java, JavaScript, and Python.
