Istio is an open platform to connect, manage, and secure microservices jointly launched by IBM, Google, and Lyft. When installed on Kubernetes, Istio enables key capabilities to manage your service mesh including traffic management, policy enforcement, security, telemetry, and more. This workshop will get you started with creating a service mesh with a microservices application and reviewing the capabilities exposed by Istio. You’ll then take it a step further by observing mocked production issues and work with Istio to debug and solve them. Join us for this hands-on interactive lab and be prepared to get intimate with Istio on Kubernetes.
